Last Updated 09/15/2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the websites operated by Yellowstone Episcopal Parishes (YEP), including but not limited to yellowstoneepiscopalparishes.org, standrewslv.org, saintandrewsepiscopalchurch.org, and stjohnspv.org (collectively, the "Sites"). By accessing or using any of the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

1. Who We Are

YEP is a collective of Episcopal parishes, including St. Andrew's and St. John's, serving our communities in and around Livingston, Montana. These Terms apply across all Sites operated under the YEP umbrella.

2. Use of the Sites

You agree to use the Sites only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Sites by, any third party. Prohibited uses include, without limitation:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Sites, other user accounts, or connected systems

  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature

  • Using the Sites to harass, defame, or harm another person or organization

  • Scraping, data-mining, or harvesting information from the Sites without our prior written consent

  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with YEP or any parish

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Sites for any user who violates these Terms.

3. Community Profiles and User-Submitted Content

Certain areas of the Sites may allow members to create community profiles or submit content (such as event postings, prayer requests, or group communications). By submitting content, you represent that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate the privacy or rights of any third party.

As outlined in our Privacy Policy, you are responsible for protecting the privacy of others — for example, you may not share contact information belonging to other members that you access through a community profile for any purpose outside of normal parish communication.

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Donations

YEP and its parishes accept donations through Tithe.ly, a third-party online giving platform. When you make a donation through Tithe.ly, your transaction is subject to Tithe.ly's own terms of service and privacy policy, in addition to these Terms. YEP does not directly process, store, or have access to your full payment card information; that data is handled by Tithe.ly's payment processing systems.

The Sites do not currently offer a shopping cart, merchandise sales, or e-commerce checkout functionality outside of donation processing through Tithe.ly.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Sites — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the compilation thereof — is the property of YEP or its respective parishes and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may view, download, and print content from the Sites for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Sites without our prior written permission.

Any parish or diocesan crests, seals, or logos displayed on the Sites remain the property of their respective owners and may not be used without authorization.

6. External Links

The Sites may contain links to third-party websites, including Tithe.ly and other partner or community platforms, for your convenience. These links do not constitute an endorsement by YEP of the content, products, or services offered by those sites. YEP is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or accuracy of any external website, and your use of any linked site is at your own risk. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Sites and all content provided through them are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. YEP does not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. As noted in our Privacy Policy, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YEP, its parishes, officers, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Sites, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, damages related to lost data, lost donations, or unauthorized access to your information.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability in ways not permitted under applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YEP, its parishes, and their respective officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Sites.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Sites after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Park County, Montana.
